• A1 ENTRANCE

You can easily see the METU logo when you have a bird's-eye view of the Campus from above it.

The Campus is situated at a higher level than the A1 Entrance. You will notice it most when you are cycling down hill towards the A1 Entrance. Don't worry if you don't have a bike! You can hire one at Campus Bike points and cycle to wherever you want to go.

This is the place where you will spend the first year of your study if you have to study English in the preparatory year.

Sometimes a hand holding papers will reach into your English class and you will hear the words “Pop Quiz!”.

You'd better familiarize yourself with the language, which helps make METU into METU! (You will know what I mean when you experience the atmosphere.)

  • ACADEMIC HALLS

There are three academic halls for the time being; the buildings R, S and T.

All students attend their courses in these buildings. That is to say, students from different fields attend their courses in their designated classrooms in these three places. While you are attending a mechanical engineering course, for example, a psychology course might be offered to others in the classroom next door. This might make you curious about different fields.

Kitchens, bathrooms and WCs are available for common usage. Common study rooms are available for every 4 students. The Mardo Patisserie is just opposite the dorm.
